You can get here by sea or by air or often a combination of both.

El Hierro has a small airport close to the capital, Valverde. It connects to Los Rodeos Airport in Tenerife up to three times a day (during peak season) and to Gran Canaria Airport up to twice a week.

You can also take the boat from Tenerife. This is what most people do, when they are travelling around the islands. There’s a boat sailing between La Estaca harbour and Los Cristianos Harbour, Tenerife up to four times a week.
